1. About the Service

Workshop Live Mosaic is a beta photo mosaic platform for workshops and events. It allows event organisers to create live photo mosaics that participants contribute to by uploading pictures during the event.

2. Free Service & No Guarantees

This service is currently provided free of charge and comes with no guarantees of any kind. It is a beta test and may be stopped, modified, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

3. Feedback

As a beta service, feedback is warmly welcomed. You can use the feedback button available throughout the application to share your thoughts, report issues, or suggest improvements.

4. Download Your Pictures

It is highly recommended to download your pictures immediately after the event. Once the data retention deadline passes, all session data — including uploaded photos — will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

All session data is automatically deleted after the retention period configured by the session owner. The session owner receives email notifications before deletion occurs. Once deleted, data is not recoverable by anyone — including the platform operator.

6. Content Moderation

Without moderation: Any participant with the session link can upload pictures. The session owner can review and delete individual images at any time.

With moderation: When moderation is enabled by the session owner, a moderator reviews and approves images before they appear in the mosaic. Only approved images are displayed.

7. Admin Visibility

The platform administrator can see session titles, the total number of uploaded photos, and deadline information. The application has been designed so that the administrator cannot access actual pictures or mosaic content.

8. Data Controller & Processor

The data controller is the person who creates the event session. They determine the purpose and duration of data processing. The platform operator acts as a data processor, providing the technical infrastructure.
